A group of 10 gathered and told stories about  joyous moments of their life.

These stories were distilled into a single poem (see the words below) and as a group we transformed this poem into music using only our voices and our bodies.

Song:

Lyrics:

“Listening to a Jill Scott song,
I started to cry.
Literally feeling in my heart, a selling.
It felt so good to cry, so deeply, after not being able to for so long.

IT TURNS ME ON!

He couldnt take his eyes off his own child,
because it was pure.
I gave up everything I needed to give up.
I had my arms back, gave a roar!

IT TURNS ME ON!

I felt as if I was being danced.
I don’t need to share.
I started to laugh and laghter become a daily part of my life!

IT TURNS ME ON!

Leaving from a negative space to a positive space,
in fishing for moments.
Seeing it form in front of my eyes,
It was just love, genuine.

IT TURNS ME ON!”
