Nine people exploring what it means to open their hearts.

A group of 10, diverse in musical experience and age created this song about their experiences of “fear”. A perfect chorus came out of one of the groups’ experience of “finding a vine” that saved his life as he was falling down a mountain.

A group of 10 gathered and told stories about joyous moments of their life.

These stories were distilled into a single poem (see the words below) and as a group we transformed this poem into music using only our voices and our bodies.

This was The Human Sound Project’s third workshop with a group of six. The theme of the day was “The Well” – as in that hole in the ground that humans have been using as a water source for thousands of years. We all added words, ideas, thoughts, feelings in relation to this ancient technology.

This was the very first Human Sound experience we ever did! Doing a cover of this song came so naturally to us – there was so much vibe in this Human Sound experience! One day we hope to perform this song with a chorus of hundreds of people!
