For young people in Cumberland LGA aged 12 – 24 - g. Beginners to advanced levels welcome. Launching February 16!

The Auburn Sound Project provides a safe space and creative platform to develop and connect as people and as musical artists.

Come down to our recording studio for:

  • Free music production and songwriting sessions mentored by experienced music producers in a professional music studio – empowering and mentoring young people to write, record and perform their own original music.
  • Mental health and wellbeing support by fostering positive engagement in creative activities and promoting healthy relationships between young people, youth workers and volunteer music-production mentors.
  • Employment ready skills in music production and engineering as well as soft-skills in creativity, collaboration and communication.
  • Regular local performance nights for the community where young people can showcase their talent and music, further strengthening community bonds.

Location of sessions: Auburn Youth Centre – Wyatt Park, Lidcombe
Session bookings available 6 days a week – Weekdays 3pm – 5:30pm and Saturdays from 2pm - 4pm.
