This song proudly demonstrates the gifts, the spirit and the culture that new arrivals and refugees bring to Australia.

The song was co-created by over 150 new Australian arrivals, including many refugees from Iraq, Afganistan, Sri Lanka over the course of our four visits to SSI’s Communty Kitchen in Auburn where we ran workshops, shared stories and recorded the endless array of cultural activities that take place at this community strengthening bi-weekly event.

Thanks to the whole community kitchen community guests and volunteers for your passion, stories, sounds, spirit and effort to make this happen, Carolina Triana and Settlement Services International – SSI for bringing us on board and for everything you do, to Daniel Romeo audio production, Eric Boudville video production, to Oded Prior and Junkyard Beats for your workshop and guidance, Sally Lillian for your assistance, Ruby Everett and Emanuel Lieberfreund on horns, The Peacemakers Ensemble, Muhammad Sadiq and Sinan Bayood.
